The snow has melted, the ice climbers left long ago, the skiers have had their last days in the sun and the caretakers have headed down the hill. Through the spring, summer and autumn Harvard Cabin is left empty quietly waiting for the return of a warm fire, muffled conversations, and the first flakes of snow on Mount Washington.
